I lied. I thought I was going to go to the store for Whole30 grocery shopping on Wednesday. It didn’t happen. I was going to go Saturday but then we got invited to a concert. Of course, the concert won.
A little delayed start in my plan but eventually made it to Aldi on Sunday, which was Mother’s Day. It also meant the stores were not that busy – YAY!
Almost everything that was on our list could be purchased at Aldi except maybe the LaraBars. Only the ones without sugar or chocolate are Whole30 approved. I bought some of these for easy snacks or breakfast.
Other items on our shopping list:
- Salmon
- Spaghetti Squash (not at Aldi this week but found at Meijer!)
- Broccoli
- Carrots
- Cucumbers
- Tomatoes
- Apples
- Grapes
- Oranges
- Strawberries
- Blackberries
- Almonds
- Pistachios
- Cashews (skipped these for this week since nuts are expensive!)
- Eggs
- Coconut oil
- Olive Oil
- Canned Coconut Milk (not at Aldi)
So basically fresh fruits, vegetables, eggs, and fish.
